This is a calendar. Not what you expected, right? Crafted in Japan during the Edo Period, the calendar for 1705 was supposed to be both functional and beautiful. It was put on a stoneware vase, decorated on all sides. There are beautiful pomegranate blossoms on two sides, the twelve animals of the zodiac on another, and the calendar on the last side
