heathkathleen:

A day in the life of a public health intern…

  • Community surveys,
  • GPS tagging for some QGIS maps,
  • health education talks on salt reduction at a local health center,
  • conducting mosquito larval dips (and actually finding larvae!),
  • and coordinating with other divisions in the health sector to conduct physico-chemical water tests.
  • Plus a homemade Trini (Trinidadian+Indian) lunch at boss’s house when his mom visited for the weekend.
