Microneedle Patch Could be a Game Changer For Vaccination
A microneedle patch being developed by Georgia Tech and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) could make it easier to vaccinate people against measles and other vaccine-preventable diseases. Compared to conventional vaccines, the patch is designed to be administered by minimally-trained workers and to simplify storage, distribution and disposal. This video describes the patch and how it would be used.
