LBJ Knows How To Make A Journalist Feel Special
Early in 1961, Russell Baker, then covering Capitol Hill for the New York Times, was coming out of the Senate when he ran into Vice-President Johnson. Johnson grabbed him, cried, “You, I’ve been looking for you,” pulled him into his office, and began a long harangue about how important he was to the Kennedy administration and what an insider he really was.
While he was talking, he scribbled something onto a piece of paper and rang the buzzer. His secretary came in, took the paper, and left the room; she returned a few minutes later and handed the paper back to him. Still talking, LBJ glanced at the paper, crumpled it up, threw it away, and finally finished his monologue.
Later Baker learned that Johnson had written on the paper: “Who is this I’m talking to?”

Imagens gravadas por um sistema de vigilância em um pub na Inglaterra parece mostrar objetos sendo movimentados por uma força invisível.
O pub Chapel House, em Dudley, tem registrado estranhas ocorrências paranormais e os proprietários do local, Katie Round e Ben Parkes, alegam ter experienciado vários incidentes inexplicáveis.
“Sexta-feira passada um pote de vidro, que estava em uma prateleira da parte superior, me bateu com força no peito”, disse Ben. “Às vezes você pode ouvir passos subindo escadas, mas, em seguida, eles simplesmente param”.
Entretanto, o encontro mais intrigante do casal gira em torno de imagens do circuito interno de TV que foi gravado enquanto eles limpavam o pub.
“Eu estava limpando no final da noite quando ouviu alguma coisa na cozinha, eu saí para olhar e não conseguia ver nada”, disse Katie.
Ao analisar as imagens, eles notaram que a placa de aviso havia mudado de local e caído por conta própria. O vídeo também mostrou o momento em que Ben se assusta com a vassoura caindo sem qualquer explicação.
“Ele ficou muito assustado”, disse Katie. “Quando olhamos as imagens mais tarde, não podíamos acreditar”.
