Stereo Pluto
These two detailed, true color images of Pluto were captured during the historic New Horizons flyby last month. With slightly different perspectives on the now recognizeable surface features they are presented in this first high quality stereo pair intended for viewing by denizens of planet Earth. The left hand image (left eye) is a mosaic recorded when the spacecraft was about 450,000 kilometers from Pluto. The right single image was acquired earlier, a last full look before the spacecraft's closest approach. Despite a difference in resolution, the pair combine for a stunning 3D perception of the distant, underworldly terrain.

OVNI ultrapassa avião da Virgin Airlines
Um vídeo publicado no YouTube mostra um estranho objeto voador passado acima de um grande avião enquanto ele decola de um aeroporto.
O vídeo, que foi enviado para o canal LookNowTV do YouTube, foi filmado por um indivíduo anônimo em Nova York, perto do Aeroporto Internacional John F. Kennedy.
Enquanto o avião sobe, um pequeno objeto de cor escura se move na mesma direção, mas a uma velocidade muito maior antes de desaparecer.
O fato de que o vídeo foi gravado em um aeroporto torna difícil descartar outras aeronaves, mas isso não impediu da gravação obter mais de 200.000 visualizações até esta data.
Apesar do ceticismo do público, a pessoa que enviou o vídeo diz que o homem é conhecido apenas como Rick e que não existem razões para acreditar que é uma fraude.
“Eu compartilhei com meus amigos para obter mais opiniões pois não conseguimos chegar a uma conclusão definitiva sobre o que seria este objeto”, diz o autor da publicação.

A doutrina espírita surgiu na França, no século XIX, criada pelo pedagogo Allan Kaderc. Ele acreditava na junção da ciência, filosofia e religião. De modo geral, o espiritismo acredita nos seguintes pontos: Na existência de Deus como único, ou seja, não acredita na Santíssima Trindade, que Ele é o criador do universo e de todos os seres, e por fim, na existência da imortalidade do espirito.
No Brasil essa doutrina chegou por volta de 1840 e possui a maior comunidade espirita do mundo, devido a existência do segundo homem mais importante para essa Doutrina, o médium brasileiro Chico Xavier, que durante anos foi o representante mais forte do espiritismo no país.
Ele foi o criador de muitos livros sobre a religião e a experiência de sua vida, psicografou várias mensagens. Isso o tornou um ícone para a Doutrina conquistando mais seguidores para o espiritismo.
Existem diversas preces espiritas para a comunicação com Deus, elas são poderosas quando feitas de coração. Confira abaixo duas orações, uma criada por Chico Xavier e outra com autor desconhecido, mas que são belas palavras e com grande utilidade para se expressar melhor no momento do diálogo com Cristo.

August 6th 1623: Anne Hathaway dies
On this day in 1623, Anne Hathaway, the widow of William Shakespeare, died in Stratford-upon-Avon aged 67. Very little is known about Hathaway’s life, but she was born in 1556 in a small hamlet called Shottery, not far from Stratford, where she lived in her family cottage, which is now a major tourist attraction. The 26 year old Hathaway met the 18 year old Shakespeare, who was the son of a glove maker from Stratford, in the 1580s. Anne became pregnant, and the couple hastily married in November 1582, with a special bond from the bishop allowing for a quicker marriage. After her marriage, Anne moved to Shakespeare’s family home in Stratford, and six months later the couple welcomed a child named Susanna. The Shakespeares had two more children, twins Hamnet and Judith, born in 1583. Hamnet died aged just 11 years old, but Susanna married a prominent doctor named John Hall, and Judith married Thomas Quiney. Anne spent a lot of time without her husband, as after he turned 21, Shakespeare frequently stayed in London, making a name for himself as a famous playwright. Scholars have long speculated about the nature of Anne and William’s marriage, with many asserting that it was an unhappy one, with Shakespeare resenting his wife. However, there is little evidence for this, and other work stresses that he returned to live with her in Stratford after retiring in 1613. Additionally, while he seemingly insulted Anne by bequeathing her his “second best bed” in his will, this was customary at the time as beds were highly valuable status symbols. Shakespeare died in 1616, and upon her death in 1623, Anne requested to be buried beside him in the Church of the Holy Trinity, Stratford-upon-Avon.
