You do not mention the recent theory that Van Gough was shot accidentally?

I had not previously heard this theory, but after some reading I found that a 2011 biography of Van Gogh by Steven Naifeh and Gregory White Smith suggests the artist was shot accidentally by an acquaintance (article here: http://ift.tt/19BdevI). It’s an interesting idea, but one that has been challenged by experts (http://ift.tt/14FfjVF).
