titan, tethys, & saturn’s rings, photographed by cassini, 18th october 2010.
7 frames, each a produced from 3 photographs taken through red, green, and blue filters sequentially. because the moons are moving with respect to each other, every frame requires 2 composites - 1 aligned to titan (bottom left), and 1 aligned to tethys (bottom right) - which are then combined.
