The Tasmanian tiger was declared extinct when the last known tiger died at a zoo in Australia in 1936. Recently, however, two credible sightings have suggested that they might not be so extinct. Scientists are planning to set up 50 trap cameras in late April on Cape York, a peninsula in Australia’s north-east corner. Hopefully one of the cameras captures an image which proves the tigers still live. There may be big news coming!
