What kind of lunatic needs 55 gallons of water-based lube!?
Lube generally has a shelf life of a few years. So bulk would be useful to industries that use it frequently and are looking to be frugal. Vets that deal with a large number of breeding livestock come to mind for aid in birthing and exams. And obviously the porn industry. Though I actually know some retirement community residents that buy this stuff for their swinger parties.
A gay bar I used to frequent fills a kiddie pool up with this stuff and has lube wrestling contests, so that’s one use
